I’m Isabella Dias, a Game Designer and Level Designer with 7+ years of experience in the games industry, working with games across VR, PC, consoles, and mobile.
I began my career in 2018 as a Sound Designer, working on different types of game projects. This experience gave me an early understanding of game development and the importance of audio in creating engaging player experiences.
I later moved into Quality Assurance, where I worked for over three years and contributed to at least 11 projects. This experience taught me how to analyze games critically, identify gameplay and usability issues, understand player needs, and collaborate closely with developers to find practical solutions.
As a Game Designer, I have worked primarily with Unreal Engine, creating levels, interfaces, gameplay systems, design documentation, and balancing spreadsheets. I also have working knowledge of Unity and can adapt to different tools and development workflows.
Playing and analyzing games is an important part of my creative process. Whenever I work with a new genre, I research its main references, study player expectations, and identify the elements that make the experience engaging, clear, and enjoyable.
I am known for being patient, communicative, and constructive. I enjoy working closely with programmers, artists, producers, and QA professionals, maintaining clear communication and helping the team solve problems without creating unnecessary friction.
I enjoy exploring different genres and studying how games create memorable player experiences. Some of my favorite games include:
